About Neran kutch embroidery
Neran Embroidery got its name from the Kutchi word ‘nenn’ its mean eye. It has its own unique features; a filled curved structure that looks like an eyebrow. Craftswomen use tiny eye-like structures in this style. Each small structure is filled with a dark colour, highlighted by white. Small sized mirrors add to the beauty of the embroidery. First, this embroidery was used by the Sodha Rajput as a combination with Pakko bharat, but now it has its own recognition and individual identity. The mastery of this style is appealing colour combination, curved units, and thickness, which represents the power of traditional speaking needles.
